Elizabeth Spriggs, who died on Wednesday aged 78, was a versatile actress on stage and screen, and became familiar to television viewers in the role of Nan in Shine On Harvey Moon in the UK. To us following Harry Potter, in 2001 was the Fat Lady in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
