Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them represents the fruit of many years' travel and research by Newt Scamander. According to the book, the first edition was commissioned in 1918 by Augustus Worme of Obscurus Books. To compile this volume, Mr. Scamander traveled the globe in search of magical species. For complete details of the beasts within this list, the curious reader is invited to purchase Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and all the proceeds will go to charity Comic Relief.
