There are a lot of people in Harry Potter's world, and this database will help you keep track of all of them. While every character has a quick description, many of them also have an expanded description by clicking on their name. Characters that appear in more than one book will often have plenty of details. Many different fan artists have been essential in providing us with character pictures for our pages, and the variety of artwork is also featured in complete form in our "featured artist" gallery.
Spoiler tags have been enabled for the detailed pages. To get the most use out of them, please select the last book you have finished. All of the quick descriptions presume knowledge of the events of Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, and Goblet of Fire. Order of the Phoenix knowledge is not presumed by default for those people who like to see the movie before reading the book.
